Ashley Lilley (born 29 January 1986) is a Scottish actress who made her film debut in 2008 film Mamma Mia! The Movie.

Life and career

She was born Ashley-Anne Lilley in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. At the age of 12 she won a place with the National Youth Music Theatre. At 15 she enrolled at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London, and graduated in 2004.[1] Lilley went on to star as Lucille Frank in a production of Jason Robert Brown's Parade at the Edinburgh fringe festival in 2005. She then joined the UK tour of Cole Porter's Anything Goes in the role of Hope Harcourt.

Lilley made her film debut as Ali in Mamma Mia! The Movie, the film based on the same named musical, which is based on the songs of famous Swedish music group ABBA.

Nicknamed Ash by her friends and family,[1] she was a school classmate of Hamilton Academical midfielder Jim McAlister and a college classmate of Derek Hough. She has recently appeared in the 2010 romantic drama, Letters to Juliet, as Patricia, Charlie's cousin; a minor role.
